NOAA says Arctic will be nearly free of sea ice by the middle of this century
NOAA researchers now think that Arctic sea ice could decline even faster than previously thought
, actually being nearly ice free by 2050 and maybe even within the next couple of decades. It's not good news and we don't really know every possible consequence of this event.
